Kitoodle is a shared-list app operated by Clarity Taxation Limited (United Kingdom) — "we", "us", "our". By using Kitoodle you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Kitoodle lets you create lists and share them with other people by a short code, so everyone with the code sees changes live. There are no accounts: your lists and preferences are kept on your own device and identified only by the codes you hold. If you lose your device or clear its storage, you may lose access to lists whose codes you haven't saved elsewhere — so keep a note of any code that matters to you.
When using Kitoodle you agree not to:
We may remove content or restrict access if we reasonably believe these terms have been breached.
You can attach photos to items, and you can use the optional "scan" feature to identify an item from a photo. When you use scanning, the photo is sent to a third-party AI service to work out what the item is; it is not used to identify you. If you'd rather not use a third-party service, simply don't use the scan feature — you can always type items in or add a photo without scanning. How photos and other data are stored and kept is described in our Privacy & Data Policy.
Kitoodle is provided "as is" and "as available". We work to keep it running but can't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free, and we may change, suspend, or withdraw features at any time. In line with our Privacy & Data Policy, lists that nobody has touched for 12 months are automatically deleted.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we give no warranties about the app beyond those that cannot be excluded, and we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable loss, or for loss of data or lists. Kitoodle is a convenience tool and is not intended for storing important, sensitive, or irreplaceable information, so please keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. If you are a consumer, you have legal rights that these terms do not affect.
Our Privacy & Data Policy explains what we store, where, and for how long. Please read it alongside these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time; the date above will be updated and material changes will be highlighted in the app. Continuing to use Kitoodle after a change means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the UK, you may instead bring proceedings in your local courts.
